BMX Titles 2021

Wow! During the last week of Term 3 and into the holidays our own BMX racers had nothing short of an epic week. Many of the SPC BMX riders are definitely not 'bandits' they are racers, and the results speak for themselves. Riders had travelled up to Tennant Creek for Round 6 in NT Series and the first races on the recently completed National level track ended with great results.

As if the 800km round trip was not enough, we saw students, staff and parents hitting the BMX track as they pushed themselves to new speeds breaking records, bikes and bodies in the quest for glory.

Racers also raced in the Hut Six Round 7 of the NT Series on the last Wednesday of last term, finishing at nearly 11:00pm but giving them a taste of what was to come at the NT Championships. Some of them may have been a little late to get to school the next day!

Friday night saw the Cruiser 24" classes pushing their limits with some awesome racing and great results.

Saturday was the main event with the 20" BMX classes and some serious cash up for grabs in the Superclasses. Please note: the Super classes are the fastest of the fast and a mixed age group so extra special.

Kit Williams - 3rd NT in Junior Superclass and 2nd NT in 16 Boys
Reece Cole - 5th NT in Junior Superclass and 1st NT in 14 Boys

Caleb Nichols - 1st NT
Tom Stone - 4th NT 15 Boys
Ryan Be Beer - 8th NT
David Atkins (Staff) 2nd NT - 40-44 years
Brad Bellette - 3rd NT
