CAPA

Shakespeare Festival

On the day before lockdown, ASC Drama students gathered together to celebrate Shakespeare. Students from Years 9-11 performed scenes from Macbeth to Romeo and Juliet to A Midsummer Night's Dream. The performances went all day and also included moments of music and dance.

A good time was had by all!

Excellence in music

Congratulations to Madison Sim, who has had a stellar musical year and has achieved some amazing musical feats despite lockdown. Earlier in the year she received a scholarship donation prize at the Armidale Eisteddfod for “Potential in Strings (Senior Category)” and was invited to perform at the Eisteddfod Gala Concert. She has been accepted into the State Honours Ensemble Program at Griffith University to be held in October. Madi’s most recent achievement was being awarded a High Distinction for her AMEB Certificate in Performance.

Madi is in Year 11 and is a student in the Music 2 course. Bravo, Madi!
