Come & Play - Transition Sessions for Children Staying at Curiosity in 2022
A reminder of our upcoming 'Come & Play' sessions. All children attending Curiosity in 2022 are asked to attend to support the connection of new relationships with other children, the new environments and educators.
If your child does not normally attend these days, you are welcome to book them in to attend the whole day. Please contact Amber if you wish to book your child in. Spaces will be limited.
Three important dates are the 'Come & Play' sessions:
Thursday 11 November - 8:30 - 10:30am. Parent are invited to stay.
Thursday 18 November - 8:30 - 10:30am. Parents are invited to leave.
Monday 6 December - 8:30 - 10:30am. Parents are invited to leave and share in Morning Tea at school with Jacqui (ELC Director).
Complying Written Agreements and Universal Access forms
In preparation for 2022, we ask each family to fill out at Complying Written Agreement with notification as to when your child will start back with us and for what days. Families are welcome to modify current days with a 5 day per fortnight minimum.
We ask that these forms be returned to us by Monday Dec 6 so that we are able to manage our staffing for 2022.
For children who are part of our 4 year old program (Blue/Orange Team), we ask that you read and sign the Universal Access document. This document gives claim that your child is attending Curiosity the year prior to their formal year of school. This information is sent to the Department of Education to allocate funding throughout the year.
If your child has a 'Risk Minimisation and Communication' agreement in place with us due to a medical condition, allergy or anaphylaxis response, we will be in contact with you prior to your child's first day in 2022 to ensure that their agreement is updated and medication onsite. Your child can not be in our care without these updated forms and medication so please ensure your child's medication is current.
