Road Safety

Montague Road is an extremely busy place which during drop off and pick up times can present some dangerous situations when people are in a rush, distracted or when the weather is bad.

Of late, we have received reports of parents parking beyond the solid yellow line which does indicate that parking is not allowed beyond this area.  With traffic turning out of Dwight Street, it is quite a challenge to see beyond the parked cars.  Please be considerate when parking along Montague Road and pulling out of your road side park.

I would also encourage you to ensure that when leaving the Curiosity gate, that your child be holding your hand.  There have been a few near misses of children whom are waiting for parent conversations to finish and have been playing either roadside or in the carpark.
