Indigenous Business Month - October

We fully support Aboriginal owned and operated businesses at Thornbury Primary.   Our School Council this year moved our NAIDOC T-shirt supplier to Clothing the Gaps, which is a local and ethically run business.

Over the past three years we have worked closely with Aunty Lee to ensure the importance of connection to Country is embedded within our learning space.  We are proud to showcase the self determination and passionate commitment of these wellbeing programs.

There are so many Thornbury Primary School students who have grown up to create, lead and run Aboriginal owned businesses, including Koorie Circle, Kinya Lerrk and Big Nuzz.  We would LOVE to hear of more powerful TPS students and their successes in business so that we can promote and celebrate.
