T.I.M.E.

T.I.M.E. lessons are buzzing with the excitement of Arts Festival 2021!

All students are working towards their virtual performance on Saturday 4th December.  Your instrumental teachers will provide you with more information.

A reminder that if your child learns an instrument outside of the T.I.M.E. program and you wish them to be a part of this festival please contact Emma Cornish-Giles as soon as possible.

T.I.M.E. lessons will remain operating remotely (via zoom) until further notice.  We are anticipating that they will resume onsite with students on the 5th November.

Music/Drama/Performing Arts

At the end of Term 3 and beginning of Term 4 we began to prepare ourselves for the upcoming performance, however things got moved and changed once again. So the children have enjoyed completing dance activities online, but to have a little change before practicing as a class at school, we explored acting as characters to help our dance. Students have learnt about making expressions and adding them to the characters they portray when dancing or acting, which is already enhancing their dance abilities. This term will be filled with dance practice as we get ready for the 2021 Arts Festival, and we are so excited to be dancing together again. Here are some photos of eager dance students practicing their characters moving around doing everyday activities, like a robot baking a cake, or a superhero getting grumpy!
