HAVE YOU CONSIDERED UNIVERSITY EXTENSION STUDIES?

There are several universities that offer Year 12 students the opportunity to complete a University Extension Study as part of their VCE. These studies allow students the experience of studying one University subject, getting credit for a first year subject, as well as a boost to the ATAR. The Universities that offer Extension Studies include; Federation, Melbourne, Deakin and RMIT. There is a rigorous application process for these subjects. Some of the offerings from RMIT are listed below.

Get a head start at university by completing two undergraduate subjects during the final year of your VCE. Equip yourself with the skills and knowledge to transform your future.

RMIT Extension counts towards your ATAR with up to a five-point boost and as a fifth or sixth subject towards the completion of your VCE, and the subjects you complete at RMIT have no fees!

You can then get credit towards your future RMIT studies. This means you can reduce your study load or take advantage of opportunities for internships or exchange programs.

Biology (ES003) - Explore human responses to disease and extend your practical laboratory skills in our state of the art laboratories.
Maths: Calculus and analysis (ES007) - Differentiate yourself and learn how to apply your mathematical skills in a complex problem-solving environment.
Project management (ES008) - Project managers are crucial parts of today's workplace. Expand your career options and challenge yourself with our industry recognised courses.
Sustainability and urban planning (ES009) - Find solutions and help create a more sustainable world.
International studies and development (ES010) - Globalise your thinking and explore constructs of gender and culture.
Landscape architecture (ES011) - Learn to shape the built environment you live in.
Maths: Statistics and data analysis (ES015) - Develop your critical analysis and decision making skills in a technology rich environment.
Maths: Discrete mathematics and algebra (ES016) - Use your mathematical skills to solve real world problems.

Defence Force Recruiting invites you to an interactive live presentation with current serving Navy Maritime Warfare Officers. This is your opportunity to find out more about life in the Navy on the land and out at sea, with a virtual submarine tour.
