Welcome

Welcome to 2022. What a couple of extraordinary years it has been for us all. Yet despite all the challenges and uncertainty associated with the COVID global pandemic, the CLC community has remained resilient, optimistic and adaptable. How apt are the words of Irish Sister of Charity, Sr Stanislaus Kennedy, “an easy ride can’t teach you how to handle a dangerous bumpy road”. We have indeed experienced a very bumpy road over the past two years with all matters COVID and pride ourselves on the ways we have managed the road bumps and roadblocks. Undoubtedly, we have learnt lots about our own selves, each other and developed new skills along the way. Despite the trying circumstances beyond our control, we have much to be proud of as members of the CLC community.

2022 is a milestone year for the College as we celebrate 120 years of Catholic Ladies’ College. Established in 1902 by the Sisters of Charity in East Melbourne, CLC has a rich and proud history. We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone in different ways over the course of this year.
