Hot Cross Bun day

Last Tuesday's Hot Cross Bun day was great fun and we saw some big smiles on our students' faces. We sold over 230 buns and our most popular combination by far was hot choc-chip buns (125).

Thank-you to Aime Loydell for organising the event and picking up the hot cross buns and to Lily Asadpour and Jo Muscat for helping out on the day. Thanks also to Jo Metcalfe and the class teachers for their work in ensuring the students were organised and the buns were served efficiently.

There was a little bit of a learning curve for us as it was the first time we'd done such a day, but we now know that a pie warmer is just perfect for heating a large number of buns!

Cricket winners

Congratulations to our inter-school sports cricket team who won a very close grand final, 93 to 86. Well done to all the players and their coach Mr Jones.

Enjoy the break

Although there have been some challenges this term, it's great that we have been able to get through it with no major disruptions to our teaching and learning. As we head into term 2, we are planning some social events to continue to get our community back together again after two difficult years.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday and break and enjoys their eggs at Easter.
