Assistant Principal's Report

Meredith Thornton

What an amazing Term we have had:

In my travels around the school I am seeing many wonderful things our teachers are contributing to lots of Numeracy, Literacy, assessments and well being programs in class. We have our SIT Team (School Improvement Team), we have staff on School Council - developing policies, helping with marketing and fund raising ideas and staff helping out in the canteen, planning camps and excursions - there are lots of great things happening.

There are countless roles staff undertake, it's impossible to mention them all. Huge thank you to every member of our staff.

An Easter lunchtime colouring competition has begun, and the ever popular Lego lunchtime (with Sue) continues.

Be your best!

Respectful Relationships and School Wide Positive Behaviours (SWPB) are key areas we focus on at ACPS. Students can earn "smiley face" stickers for displaying any of our school values and YAGA (You Are Great Awards) are also announced weekly in Friday Assembly.

Have a great holiday, stay safe, be kind and be your best - always.
