Volleyball

A great team of seven girls and seven boys from our secondary classes represented MCC at the Sunraysia School Sports Volleyball tournament late in this term.  Our boys team, led by Joseph Kirirua-Gill, and our girls team, led by Sophie Lim, enjoyed matches against the four teams in their pools: Merbein P10, Trinity Lutheran College, Coomealla High School and Chaffey Secondary College.

Sophie and Joseph did an outstanding job of leading their teams and maintaining focus and effort despite some very challenging competition. Though we lost more games than we won, our teams did us proud.  Some losses were very close and all players made valuable contributions.
