VICSEG Scholars Update

Student Highligh: Yong Dengdit

Yong Dengdit has been having a ball in the short time that he's been with us.  He has recently jumped on the Homework Club 97.9 FM Radio Show with DJ Will.  He has a passion for media, and would like to continue working in this industry when he's done with his studies.

He also joined a chess tournament at the Melton Library and Learning Hub.  Congratulations on doing a good job and taking home the trophy!

On  the 7th of December, a graduation ceremony was held at the Melton Library and Learning Hub for the scholars of the VICSEG Student Engagement and Scholarship Program.

It was a well-attended event with VIPs, politicians, and school representatives. Present were Mrs. Woodward, our Careers Practitioner, and Ms. Medina, our MEA.  The Victoria University mentors Hayley Caroll and Mary Briffa were also in attendance to support the students.
