Swimming Carnival

Swimming Carnival

On Monday, the 6th of February, Staughton College held their annual swimming carnival at Melton Waves. Despite the cool weather, there was a great turn out with lots of house pride being shown.

All houses and students competed and tried their hardest. We would like to say thank you to all the House Captains and staff for making the day great!

Once again the Swimming Carnival winning team was Kitson (1,504 points)! Closely followed by Watts (1,489 points) and Cotterell (1,202 points).

With the Athletics Carnival taking place in late May, it will be interesting to see the response from Watts and Cotterell. We all love a little healthy competition. Thank you to all involved on the day, especially the House Captains.

Students who were selected for the Interschool Swimming Carnival will be notified this week. The date for the Western Ranges Division Swimming Championships is Tuesday 28th February.
