Principal's Report

Principal's Report

I would like to again acknowledge the effort and perseverance of our Staughton Family. What we are doing is not easy but what we have already achieved in such a short time is remarkable. I have spoken to a large number of you over the past few weeks. I am inspired by stories of what you are all doing to make this work. We are grateful for the feedback which has been both constructive and positive. We will continue to learn and adapt with you as we go, guided by pragmatism and common sense.

ANZAC Day

On Anzac Day we commemorate the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces, those who have sacrificed themselves for our freedom and way of life.

I would like to congratulate our our School Captains Hayley Aguila and Kennedy Su’a and Vice Captains Danzle Kavana and Natty Anderson on presenting our annual ANZAC day assembly online this year. They were keen to honour the day even though we were unable to hold our usual whole school assembly. I would also like to acknowledge Brodie Spalding who collected all of the footage and worked really hard on a tight timeframe to put it all together. It is an example of how our student leaders work as a team to get the work done.

Child Saftey

Our school focus on learning, effort and respect lived through our motto of try persevere achieve are underpinned by an understanding that Child Safety is a paramount responsibility of the school community. Staughton College has a number of guiding policies regarding Child Safety on our web site located at http://www.staughtoncollege.vic.edu.au/administration/.

Please take some time to make yourself aware of these and contact the school should you have any concerns regarding Child Safety.

We, at Staughton College, would like to show our respect and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our school is situated, of elders past and present. We extend a warm welcome to everyone who visits our school.
