Elena Mackintosh

My name is Elena Mackintosh. I've been in Melbourne for a year now, down from sunny QLD. I love it down here, so much good food and so many things to see! I did some CRT work last year at SASC, and it's a pleasure to continue working with everyone I met here! I am teaching French, Comprehension, English and English Language.

Craig Moore

My name is Craig Moore.  I am a mature aged, graduate teaching, starting my teaching career at SASC.  I have previously been employed as a Chartered Accountant and as a fund manager, both here in Australia and overseas.  I also ran a business that fits out cinemas and theatres.  I will be teaching senior business subjects as well as junior humanities classes.  I am married with two school aged children.  I am a keen cyclist, skier and climber and have traveled extensively undertaking these activities.  

William Rowland

Hi all, my name is William Rowland and I’m a first year teacher fresh from the University of Melbourne’s Graduate teaching program. I had the privilege of doing some of my placement rounds at St Albans in 2015 and am thrilled to have been given the opportunity and privilege to join this vibrant and exciting school community. I am teaching year 8s and 9s for Humanities this year and am an unashamed history, politics and film buff. I also am a pretty terrible piano player and look forward to the mighty Hawks winning a 4th consecutive premiership. I look forward to making new friendships with both staff, students and parents this year and to get my lovely new students excited about the exciting world around them and the fascinating people that live within it.

Hannah Morton

Hello, my name is Hannah. I am the new speech pathologist at SASC! I new to Melbourne, originally from NSW. I have recently finished my degree in Speech Pathology. In the past, I have worked in Child care. I am loving Melbourne so far (still getting use to the weather!). I am really looking forward to getting to know your children and being a part of the SASC community!

Kristy Neilson

Kristy Neilson is the new Individual Needs Coordinator.  Her role includes supporting students with individual learning needs and managing the Program for Students with Disabilities Program at the school.  Kristy has come from Sunshine College where she was the Speech Pathologist and Integration Coordinator for the last 6 years.

Helen Kent

My name is Helen Kent and i have joined the staff as the new Learning Area Coordinator for English/EAL.

I taught at Hume Secondary College last year and prior to that I was a lecturer in the Master of Teaching program at the University of Melbourne.

 

I love using artworks to stimulate creative writing and responses in my students.

 

I am delighted to be working at St Albans Secondary College.

Emi Narasaki

My name is Emi Narasaki. I am teaching Yr7-10 Japanese this year at St Albans Secondary College. I have been enjoying the last three weeks as the entire St Albans SC community have been supportive and welcoming. Previously I have taught at Werribee Secondary and Brighton Secondary. My hobbies are travel and film.

 

I'm looking forward to getting to know every over the course of this year.

Leonard Gatt

My name is Leonard Gatt.

 

I have lived in the area for 36 years, married and have 3 children.  I studied Mechanical Engineering before becoming a teacher.  I taught in other local schools such as Victoria University Secondary College when it was called St albans Technical School and also at CRC Catholic Regional College.

 

I am a teacher of Mathematics at St Albans Secondary College but also teach Science, Technology studies, Wood and Metal Plastics.
