GRIP Leadership Conference

A small group of SRC students got the opportunity to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference on Tuesday the 16th of February. We participated in sessions that focused on:
- Building a team that contributes
- How to make your speeches and events dynamic
- How to motivate others
- How to say bye bye to bullying.
All elective sessions encouraged students to mingle and discuss leadership in their respective school while also participating in ‘loud noise’ activities. The ‘loud noise’ activities enabled students to play games and cheer each other on fostering teamwork and support in a group of more that 600 students from schools all across Victoria.
“This was a superb day, the Grip leadership was an opportunity, that if you don't take you will regret forever. Not only was it an exciting time of learning the qualities of leadership, but an unimaginably enjoyable time meeting other from over Melbourne with the same passion as me. Not ever I will regret attending, or forget memories I created.” Fai Srikhum Year 11 SRC
