Chess Club Term 2, 2019

Term two chess club will commence on Thursday 2nd May provided by Dark Horse Chess.  Players of all ages and levels are welcome and prior experience is not necessary.

Registration is due to the school office by 9:00 am on Thursday 2nd May.

Please download and complete the Chess Term 2 Registration Form if you wish your child to participate.

Interschool Chess Tournament - Thursday 4th April

We had a fantastic day at our first Interschool Chess Tournament for the year at Kangaroo Ground Primary School.

Congratulations to Liam J, Suranjana RM, Eric C, Josh S and Marcus Z for placing Rangeview 4th at the competition. Our small team of chess enthusiasts managed to achieve two State Final series qualifications, one High Distinction, one Gold medal and two Credit Certificates-- all in a day's work!

We are also very impressed with the growth of our students' individual performance scores since last year and we hope they keep that momentum going for the next Tournament.
