Little Long Walk
On Wednesday 11 March students from years 2 to 6 participated in the Little Long Walk which commemorates Michael Long's walk from Melbourne to Canberra in 2004. The event was organised through The Long Walk Trust, which works to improve and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, wellbeing and life opportunities.
In the days leading up to the walk, Teachers talked with students about the significance of the event, and on the day children experienced a Welcome to Country ceremony. The walk also included part of the Grand Prix circuit.
Congratulations!
To Spencer in Team Multi-age for achieving one of his literacy learning goals this term. We are SUPER proud of you and can see how hard you have been working on this at home and school. Well done! Ms. Hamid and Ms. Brass
