Student Leadership Team

Last term we farewelled our 2019 Senior Leadership Team and inducted our 2020 team. In their final week, School Captains Lilla Sale and Jackson Kyle, Vice-captain Roma Prakash and Prefects Dilshad Ali and Jessica Pulipaka ran their final team workshop. They were supported by Cuthbert Captains Wade Diks and Kaylah-Rose Davis, Fraser Captains Natasha Heal and Saujan Gavaskar, Newcombe Captains Ezekiel Maniago and Shivani Narayan and Walters House Captains Bakhman Saburi and Ma Anjela Santos.

The team ran a final session of bonding activities and games and provided leadership-building strategies for our next group of fantastic leaders. They spoke at length to the team of 50 about their year together and showed support for up-and-coming leaders at Evans. Good luck to these wonderful students not only in their HSC but with their colourful and exciting futures that lay ahead. We look forward to seeing you and acknowledging your hard work at the 2019 presentation evening.

In the same week, the 2020 Senior Leadership Team were announced and had their very first planning session which was packed with wonderful suggestions and most importantly, a great sense of team spirit. The 2020 team is extremely diverse and looks to be one of the best that Evans has seen. Congratulations to School Captains Abbey McGrath and Vedika Surnam, Vice-Captains Azuasami Makaea and Shaquille Chandra, Prefects Jiayi Wu and Sameerah Rahman, LAF Prefect George Obucina, Cuthbert House Captains Ayah Assad and Skylah Akbar, Fraser House Captains Katie Hollis and Piper Fearne, Newcombe House Captains Alfiza Rahim and Luka Pernjek and Walters House Captains Erika Zotti and Yixin Su.

The team has already shown great initiative and enthusiasm towards their newly appointed roles and it promises to be a fruitful and productive year.
