Prep - Year 2 Sports Gala

In week 6 the Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students participated in a Sports Gala on the Community Oval. They competed in a range of activities including, a relay race, tunnel ball, egg and spoon race, frisbee throwing and longest kick. It was a great opportunity to dress up in our house colours and cheer each other on.

Well done to all the College houses, the results were as follows:

These results will go towards our College house competition.

Overall, teachers were very impressed with our students’ behaviour and attitude on the day. We believe they did a wonderful job of demonstrating our four school values. We saw so many examples of students using their growth mindset to help them achieve their personal best. Well done everyone for being such good sports! Thank you to all the families who came to support our students, it was great to see so many of you there.

A big thank you to the Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 teachers for running the activities and joining in on the day and to our wonderful PE staff –

Mr Weymouth, Mr Yates and Mr H for organising the gala days for us.
