Message from the College Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
Road Safety
We are aware that pick up and drop off times can be extremely hectic and we ask that all members of our community use common courtesy and patience during these periods, and to role model the safe use of school crossings.
Unfortunately, we still have families and students crossing at other points on both Crossway Avenue and Brinbrook Streets. As you can imagine this is a significant safety concern for our community. Our teachers will be discussing the locations with their classes of all crossings on Brinbrook Street and Crossway Avenue and how to safely cross the road using these crossings. To assist with this, we ask that all members of our community model using the crossings and also request that parents discuss road safety and use of crossing with their children. We also have a Yard Duty teacher on Brinbrook Street to assist with supervision of both student crossing.
Hopefully through a combined effort by all members of the College community, we can ensure our students are safe travelling to and from school.
