Graduations and End-of-Year Celebrations

Plans for end-of-year celebrations had been finalised.  Late on Friday though, a new set of rules for schools was released which will require us to rework some of those plans.  We'll inform parents of the details as soon as possible, however, please save the dates listed in our calendar.

Visitor access

Parents and visitors are now permitted at school.  Parents and carers who enter school buildings must also have had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and must have had two doses of COVID-19 vaccine by 29 November 2021 or have a valid medical exception. Parents do not need to be vaccinated to attend an outdoor event at school. Parents and carers attending school sites for drop off and pick up who do not enter school buildings do not need to comply with vaccination requirements.

Face Masks

As directed by the Victorian Chief Health Officer, the following advice applies to all school settings:

  • Face masks are still required for students in Grade 3 to Grade 6, only when indoors on school premises, unless an exception applies.
  • Secondary school students aged 12 or older are encouraged to wear a face mask but are no longer required to.
  • Face masks are highly recommended for students in Prep to Grade 2.

Face masks are mandatory for all school staff and school students aged 12 or older when travelling to and from school on public transport and when in taxis or ride share vehicles.

Check ins

  • All visitors to the school are required to check in using the QR code available for scanning outside both front office doors.  All visitors, including parents, must check in using the QR code system or the alternate manual check in system.
  • Parents picking up or dropping off students do not need to check in unless they enter one of the school buildings.
