Science News

It has been great to see the engagement in science classes.  The Year 8 Japanese Immersion class have been busy learning the science concepts of Growth and Reproduction with Ms Muramatsu. Ms Tasiopoulos’s Year 11 Biology class has been learning the key concepts of family inheritance and genetics.  In Year 8 Science they are dissecting flowers to understand the reproductive system of a plant. These are just few of the activities taking place over the past 2 weeks and as students move into transition they will be undertaking new programs and activities  for their next year level.

On 8th November, Jamie Katic and Alex Tari attended the Science Talent Search Award Ceremony online where they were recognised for their Radiation video and were provided with the Bursary award from the Order of Australia – South Central Suburban membership group.  We look forward to seeing Jamie’s and Alex’s next entry for the Science Talent Search competition.
