Emmanuel College

It is with great pride that we reach the last week of school for all students here at Emmanuel for 2021. What a year !!! As a community we could now be more proud of the young women and men of the College and the GRIT they have shown not just in 2021, but really, for the last two years. Their resilience and the fortitude they have developed in recent years has placed them in good stead for coming years.

We were very excited on Tuesday this week to host our incoming 2022 Year 7 cohort. Their enthusiasm and excitement for what lies ahead makes 2022 and beyond look very strong at the College. We can’t wait for them to start with us.

In exciting news, we are commencing the Melissa Barbieri Soccer Academy in 2022. Melissa is a former Matilda’s captain and an excellent coach of young people. Keep an eye out for this. 

The Shane Warne Cricket Academy is starting up at both campuses too in 2022. Make sure that you are on the lookout for how to sign up for these programs in the new year.

We wish all students, staff and families a wonderful festive season and look forward to everyone returning in 2022 refreshed and ready for another successful year. Emmanuel College thanks our primary school communities for your wonderful ongoing support and encouragement of our students.

Hobsons Bay Libraries - Big Summer Read

The Big Summer Read is a Public Libraries Victoria initiative to combat the 'summer slide' (the drop off in reading over the summer holidays). Hobsons Bay Libraries will be running the Big Summer Read from December 1st to January 31st and offering a prize pack worth $300 to a lucky winner (plus a bunch of other prizes along the way).
