Scoresby Secondary College Art and Technology Show
The Scoresby Secondary College Annual Arts and Technology Showcase will be held from the 17th – 24th November. It will be a virtual showcase, similar to last year. Details on how to view the art will be advised closer to the date.
As in previous years, local primary schools have the opportunity to exhibit student art. This year I had the difficult task of selecting 5 pieces of art per year level. Luckily, I was able to choose 6 in the junior grades. Congratulations to the following students who will have their beautiful artwork exhibited:
Foundation – Tom, Ava, Cooper, Frank, Kanish and Mia
Year 1 – Cassius, Leila, Kai, Gracie, Oscar and Scarlett
Year 2 – Airlea, Alisha W, James R, Chloe, Eason and Lucy
Year 3 – Bailey F, Celeste, Rita, Sam and Varsha
Year 4 – Ava, Brody, Kimberly, Taya and Mohammad
Year 5 – Jake G, Jonelle, Parmiss, Joel and Mia A
Year 6 – Callum, Olivia, Calista, Blake N and Sheena
RampIt Artwork Competition
RampIt Indoor Skate Park have just launched a new Student Artwork Competition and are looking for creative students who want to show off their artistic talents. They are hoping to get new artwork to display at RampIt that celebrates the fun of skateboarding, scooting or BMX riding and inspires even more young people to want to get active at the centre.
We have not published the entry form in the newsletter as it must be reproduced at an exact size to be eligible to enter the competition. If you are interested in entering the competition, see Mrs Coster during your face-to-face Art lesson at school next week and she will give you the entry form.
