LITERACY - POETRY

What a term! Thank you to all the parents and carers who have supported us and their children during remote learning. It has been a challenging time for everyone but I think it proves that the St Bridget’s community truly are strong and courageous.

This term, students have been continuing to improve their knowledge across all areas of the curriculum.

In writing, they have been learning about different forms of poetry including cinquains, question poems, rhyming couplets, -ing poems and haikus.

The students have enjoyed writing poems but they discovered that writing rhyming poems can be challenging!

Here are some samples of their work, we hope you enjoy them.
