News from the Prep Room 

This Term, the Preps have enjoyed the afternoon sessions with Show and Share time, Go Noodle and Just Dance to get them up and moving. However, a definite highlight over the past few weeks has been Buddy Time. With the help of Mr Brophy, one afternoon a week the Preps have been placed into Breakout Rooms on Zoom with their buddies to have a chat, share a story and learn some new skills. The happiness on their little faces (and the many exclamations of, “Buddy Time is the best!”) has been wonderful to see and hear and it is obvious that they have made real connections.

Here are some reflections from the Preps:

Ollie - I love Buddy Time because we get to see our buddy and spend time with them because we don’t get to see them at school.

Ben - I loved Buddy Time because Lucy taught me how to share my screen and I showed Lucy and Eleanor my favourite animal.

Sam - I really loved Buddy Time because Matthew put on a puppet show for me.
