CSEF 2020 – Extension to Applications

If a parent has become the holder of a Health Care Card since 14 April 2020, please be advised that you may be eligible for Camps, Sports and Excursion Funding (CSEF).

An application form can be found at https://www.education.vic.gov.au/Documents/about/programs/health/CSEF-Application-Form-2020.pdf

A copy of your Health Care Card must be supplied with the application.

Please complete an application form and email to   finance@nossalhs.vic.edu.au

For further information please contact finance@nossalhs.vic.edu.au  or go to the CSEF website     https://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/programs/Pages/csef.aspx?Redirect=2

In acknowledgement of the significant and ongoing challenges facing our parent community, the Minister for Education has approved that the eligibility to quality for CSEF be extended to 5 October 2020, with applications due by 27 November 2020.

CSEF payments for these students will be made at 50 per cent of the standard primary and secondary rates, recognising that opportunities for camps, sports and excursions have been limited in 2020.

In addition, schools will be able to use CSEF payments for voluntary school charges, books and stationery for the remainder of 2020.

Who were the Nossal faces?

In the last edition of the newsletter, we gave the school community the challenge of identifying the 29 mystery Nossal faces. We received a number of entries and are pleased to announce the winner of the challenge is Gemma Inns of Year 9 who correctly identified 10 of the 29 faces.

Gemma's entry, in what proved to be a difficult task, even outdid a number of staff, including Mr Page!  Congratulations Gemma, when you get back to school call in at the office to claim your prize.

Here are the answers to the quiz.
