Melino ‘Ofa ‘ Amanaki

On Saturday, 22 August two of our MSC VCAL students were a part of a Talanoa (Talk/Discussion) Webinar for a FB Community Group called Melino ‘Ofa ‘ Amanaki which translates to Peace, Love and Hope. The aim of this group is to spread positive messages to everyone but especially for our Polynesian Youth. Riccardo and Mercy were invited to speak from the perspective of VCAL students alongside three other VCE students from around Melbourne. They spoke on their school journey at MSC including their goals and aspirations and how they have been coping during remote learning. Both students represented themselves and our MSC Community. It was also great to see that many members of community were commenting on how well both Mercy and Riccardo spoke, along with how mature they were throughout the Talanoa. We are extremely proud of how both Riccardo and Mercy participated in the Talanoa along with how they represented the VCAL program throughout this discussion.
