WIP at MSC

Wear It Purple (WIP) Day is an annual LGBTIQ+ awareness day for young people, based in Australia. Supporters wear purple to celebrate diversity and young people from the LGBTIQ+ community. 

On Thursday, 27 August, Melton Secondary College (MSC) recognised WIP during remote learning through STARR Connect discussions and activities including Kahoot games created by our own student leaders, as well as a photo competition through our Melton Secondary College Instagram page (see photos below). At MSC, we welcome and celebrate people of all backgrounds and identities, so we thank those staff and students for sharing images of support, and for all others for continually facilitating healthy and supportive conversations around diversity.
