Secondary Reports
Secondary reports for students from Year 7 to 11 are being loaded onto The Hub today. You will need your username and password for The HUB and Parent Portal (seen below in the second line) to access your child’s report. The reports are then located in the "docs" tab after you highlight your child's name.

Changes to Lunch Orders
PERMANENT SECONDARY LUNCH ORDERS
All secondary day students have the opportunity to purchase permanent lunch at a cost of $325 per term. This works out to be a daily cost of $6.50 and includes the lunch meal, a drink, and an icy-pole as well as morning tea. To streamline ordering and minimise food wastage we encourage secondary families to consider permanent lunch for their children.
CASUAL SECONDARY LUNCH ORDERS
Whilst we also provide casual lunches, it is essential these are ordered prior to the cut off time. FROM THE BEGINNING OF TERM 3, 2019, THE CUT OFF TIME WILL BE MIDNIGHT OF THE EVENING BEFORE. Eg. if you want lunch on Monday, you will need to order by Midnight on Sunday. This will allow sufficient time for preparation and transport to cater for students on both campuses. The cost of casual lunch will increase from $8.50 to $9.00 per day, commencing Term 3.
From the beginning of Term 3, if a casual order for a secondary student has not been received by the cut off time; and the student is therefore not on the casual lunch list for that day; they will need to wait until the permanent and casual lunch orders have been served. They will then be provided with a vegemite sandwich (or similar simple option) and a charge of $3.00 will be added to their school fee account.
The Hub
Just a reminder to Parents that all the information you need can be found on The Hub. Sports information can be found by clicking on the Sports Tile on the Home page, then Secondary, then the tile of the sport you are searching for.
Daily Notices
Daily Notices can be found in the menu on the left of the Parent's home page. This is where other relevant information for the week can be found, including the menu. You can also join groups here such as specific sports, which will ensure you receive notifications that involve that sport and your child.
Staff news
Our Head of English, Sarah Warby, recently spoke at the NSW English Teachers Annual State Conference. The conference theme this year was ‘Passion to Practice,’ which focused on current debates and conversations around the discipline of teaching English. Ms Warby's presentation was specifically on the art of academic writing and strategies for developing the critical thinking of students and engaging teachers in provocative discussion to reconsider traditional approaches to writing.
