Year 9 Performing Arts - Student Report

This week we presented our first assessment piece to an audience in the Performing Arts Centre. We were able to apply our acting craft and directorial skills to bring a range of script interpretations to life. The quality of performances and commitment from the class was inspiring! Next week we will begin the planning process for our own production which will be held in Week 7 and 8 of Term 2. Each class member will undertake an acting and production role (costume, lighting, sound, makeup, set design, publicity) throughout the semester.

We are also all eagerly awaiting our excursion at the end of term to the Princess Theatre to see the stage show production of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. If any members of the EDSC community were keen on seeing the show themselves please visit the link provided. https://au.harrypottertheplay.com/
