Meet the Seniors Team
Lori Kirk
Lori | Hello, my name is Lori, and I am teaching in the senior team this year. A little bit about me: In my free time, I enjoy hiking, seeing art exhibitions, and making my own pieces. Additionally, I spend a lot of time with my dog Piccola (a Maltese Shih Tzu), who is sixteen years old; most of our walks together involve me carrying her! This year, I have the privilege of working with a group of teachers who inspire me tremendously. |
Ann | Ann is one of the grade 5/6 teachers and loves reading and going on long walks with her giant dog George. Ann lives with her husband, Nyoman and has two adult children who have followed in her footsteps into the teaching profession. |
Michael | Michael is one of the grade 6 teachers and has been in the Senior team for 4 years now. Michael, along with Tim, are the school ICT leaders and enjoy looking for new and exciting ways to incorporate ICT into the classroom. Michael lives in Glenroy with his partner Rebecca and two young daughters, Ruby and Pearl. He spends his time away from school either down at the park with the girls and his dog Aggie or playing/watching/talking about basketball! |
Rebekah | I’m so grateful to be teaching RT in the Senior Unit. This year, I have moved to Naarm from Mildura. I’m feeling very welcome and at home within Brunwick North West Primary School. I love the arts–singing, dancing, pottery, guitar, drawing–and I also love to run. I love teaching because it brings me joy to see children grow. I strongly value wellbeing and love learning how I can nurture wellbeing throughout my role as a teacher. |
Jesse | Jesse has been teaching for ten years and has taught nearly all the year levels. He loves cooking, music, cricket and board games but is yet to find an opportunity to experience all four in one afternoon. He has a wife and two children in Year 1 and 3 which keep him very busy. |
Martin | I’m an adventurous person who likes to travel and experience new places. Off the beaten track is exciting! I’m an avid music collector and love going to see and experience live music. I play tennis regularly and enjoy running with my dog along the Maribyrnong river. |
