Junior School

In Grade 1 and 2, we have been learning about, "The Dreaming" in our Inquiry investigation together.  Students have been learning to understand the importance of the 'Land and the Dreaming' to the Aboriginal Australian people.  As a part of this unit, we looked at the meaning and symbolism of the Australian flag, the Aboriginal Australian flag and the Torres Strait Islander flag.  Students were then given a task to research a country flag of their choice and share with the class about what the colours and symbols on the flag represents.  Here are just some of the many amazing presentations that our Grade 1's have prepared!
