Immaculate  Conception Church Repairs

The time has arrived for the maintenance work of our mother church, The Immaculate Conception of Mary in Hastings. The required church maintenance work will commence on Monday 6th of February 2023 and will take approximately 4 weeks to complete. 

For the safety and security of the parishioners, there will be some restrictions to enter the church premises during the work period. However, no masses will be interrupted for Sunday services in the church. The services on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be celebrated at the Parish Activity Centre. And the funeral services will be celebrated either at St. Brendan’s church, Somerville or at St. Peter’s church, Shoreham during this period.

A sincere thanks to all the members of the Parish Leadership team (Stewardship team) Maintenance Committee, Finance Committee, all the representatives from St Brendan’s and Shoreham churches who offered advice and support. And also special thanks to all the parishioners who earnestly support me and the parish in different ways. Your prayers and wisdom are always an asset for the better running of the parish. 

NB: The Parish Finance Committee is hopeful that the work would be finished within the allocated maintenance account. However, finance committee suggests sponsorship for the different required works.
