Grade 3 Safety Day at Swimming Lessons
WWWWSwimming lessons and carnival
Thomas (3B): "I liked the day when we got to wear clothes in the water because it was really fun. I got to wear a life jacket and we had to link our arms and float as if a helicopter was coming and some teachers splashed us with water like it was a storm. This was for safety day"
Charlotte C (4R): "The best thing about swimming was you learn a lot of stuff and still have a lot of fun. We learnt safety skills like being careful around rips at the beach and never swimming against the rip. At the carnival it was really fun. Good job Dendy house for winning! Everbody tried their hardest and put in a great effort. I went in all races except for butterfly. "
Ethan (5W) : "Swimming was fun. We did lots of lessons in the lead up to the swimming carnival. I liked perfecting my backstroke in lessons and then swimming backstroke in the carnival. I came 2nd in backstroke and 2rd in breastroke"
Belle (6G): "The teacher and parent relay was a highlight. I remember we swam against Mr Ancrum, Ms Remfry, Mr Coulston, Eliza and Isabelle's dad and Ryan's dad. We got dressed up. I almost got too dressed up because I am Granger house captain. I wore a wig, face paint, a tutu, boa and gloves."
