Student Camp Reflections
Term 2 week 10 the year 3/4s went on camp to Woodhouse Activity Centre. The highlight was the Camouflaging activity because it was fun to play ambush and we loved putting paint, mud and leaves on our faces. Some of the activities that we did included Boomerang making, we made rope bridges, shelters using only rope fabric, logs, dead grass and things around us. We would definitely recommend going on camp for everyone because it is a wonderful experience and you will learn many new things.

We felt excited because we've never been on camp before. We used persistence and getting along in Challenge Hill and in the tournament because we didn’t give up. We did camo games, shelter making, we made our own boomerangs and had a talent show at the end. We would recommend the camp to future students because it was a fun camp to go on.

We felt happy, excited and amazed on what we accomplished. We did camo games, shelter building, challenge hill, movie night, a talent show and camp Olympics. We built on our resilience by pushing ourselves to the furthest limits. We used the Getting Along key by working with people we haven’t really worked with before. We also used Persistence because we did things that we thought we could never do and Organisation by cleaning our dorms and vacuuming and our dorms.
