Parents and Friends 

Thank you to all the parents that were able to attend our P&F Committee meeting or have already let us know that they would love to help out this year. We will now begin to plan out events for the year and begin to gather helpers. 

We have some large events that we have run over past years and would love to run them again so if you are interested in organising a Bunnings BBQ at the Hawthorn store or our beloved ‘Pop of Colour Walkathon’ then please let Elaina know and she will set you up with all relevant contacts, tips and organisational information you will need to get it underway.  These two events require an amount of work each week leading up to the day but much of it can be done at a time that suits you and then of course a leadership role on the day.  If you think this is something you would like to get involved in then please let us know!

ICE CREAM FRIDAY – 3.30pm at the Food Tech Window

Bring along your $2 on Friday and they will be available for purchase at 3.30pm from the Food Tech Window.  All profits will go towards planting out our new Community Edible Garden which is located along the end wall of the ELC Building.  The P&F Committee are very excited to be able to finance this special space that the entire community will continue to enjoy.  Thank you to Woolworths Prahran for donating the ice creams each week.

TOASTIES TUESDAY LUNCH ORDERS

You can order your cheese toasties for lunch each Tuesday.  Simply bring along your $2 and give it to your teacher at roll call and the toasties will be delivered to the classrooms at lunchtime. Thank you to our parents who are prepping and cooking each week to make this all happen.  Also, a big thank you to Woolworths Prahran for donating all the supplies needed to make the toasties each week.  All profits this term from toasties will be used to purchase a defibrillator for the school.

We are very grateful to Coles Prahran for supporting the small ‘Cooking Program’ that is being trialed this term by Student Support Services.  Coles Prahran have kindly agreed to pay for all the ingredients and supplies needed each week.  Thank you to Michelle and the team for your ongoing generosity.
