Badminton

During our badminton unit this term, students have had the opportunity to work in pairs and small groups in order to understand the game’s basic principles. They have learnt how to start a game and use basic tactics in singles and doubles games. Through playing and umpiring in round robin tournaments, they have developed their understanding of the rules of the game. Lots of fun!

Hoop Time

Last week, several of our Level 3/4 students competed in Basketball Victoria’s Hoop Time program. This fun, shorter game format inter-school competition is sometimes described as the “Twenty20 of basketball”. Our students had a great day and we wish those going to the next level of competition, the best of luck! We are so grateful for the support and coaching from parents and teachers on the day!

Thank you!

Mr Clark and Ms O’Connor 😊
