PRINCIPAL UPDATE

Dear Families

Canteen:

We continue to refine the provision of the canteen. Your feedback is vital in the development and these suggestions have been passed on to the provider. Could I reiterate how you can help:

  • order early and cancel early. The supplier outlined the process and timeline for each of these actions in last week’s newsletter.
  • The portions of many of the items are very large. Talk to your child about how much they eat or request the left overs are bought home. This will inform you of what or how much to buy next time.

Parent / Carers Opinion Survey:

The invitation to all our families to be part of the survey is contained in this newsletter. The survey is quite short but gives the school a large amount of feedback. It is anonymous and only the overall percentages of agreement, etc will be supplied for each question.

Results from the survey will be available later in term 4.

I encourage all families to take the time to complete the survey.

Please follow the instructions below to complete the survey. NOTE: Only one parent/caregiver/guardian from your family is invited to complete the survey.

Concert:

Ticketing details will be issued shortly, but I can guarantee a night of entertainment. The children, under Hollie’s guidance, have been practicing both songs and movements.

The Arena will again be the venue so put a note in your diary, you will not be disappointed!!

Thank You:

This week I wish to acknowledge the parents and extended family members who volunteer time to support our students in the classroom. All time and support is much appreciated. It is great to once again have helpers back in our school and classrooms.

Regional Athletics:

Our team represented us last week in very challenging weather. The weather did not lessen our children’s efforts. The report in today’s newsletter will outline the results and who will go onto the next level of competition, however our team did us proud once again.
