Wellbeing in Senior School

THE BODY PROJECT

Promoting positive body image.

The DSC Wellbeing Team is partnering with headspace and Manningham Youth Services to deliver a program for students in Years 9 and 10 to promote positive body image. The program consists of 4 sessions that will be fun and interactive and focus on skill development and confidence building for students. There will be an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and participate in a student led committee to look at how to promote positive image across the school community.

If you believe this will be of benefit for your child, please contact Caitlin Wilks (Caitlin.Wilks@education.vic.gov.au) to discuss any questions or queries and register your child for the program.  The program commences in Week 4.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER FROM SENIOR SCHOOL RECEPTION...

Out-of-uniform passes require a dated note from home and they must be given to Senior School reception before 9am.

Also, hoodies are not part of the uniform and are therefore not allowed to be worn at school.
