Round 12 Wrap-Up

v Hale School

The penultimate round for the First teams, and the last round for every other team brought some mixed results against a very strong Hale School. Thankfully the weather cleared up for weekend and large crowds were out to watch each of the matches as we tried to improve our results from the last fixture against Hale. Each year the two schools play off for the Lindegaard trophy in Rugby, named after David Lindegaard who was part of both Trinity and Hale's successful rugby programs in the past. With Trinity the 2021 champion Rugby school, hopes were high that we could pull off some wins throughout the teams, however Hale proved far too strong for us. Well done to Hale for winning the Lindegaard Trophy in 2022.

Congratulations to the Middle School Cross Country team for winning the cross country competition for this year. Led by Ms Adelaide Garland and Ms Natasha Trandos, the future of the Cross Country program looks very promising. Well done also to the 7B Soccer, 9B Soccer and 8B Football teams for going through the season undefeated.

The PSA winter season has now concluded for all teams apart from the First teams who play an afternoon fixture against Scotch next Thursday, 18 August to finish their season.

Well done to all students and coaches for a successful season.

PSA Athletics Season

The 2022 PSA Athletics Season officially starts on Tuesday!! After the success of the Athletics carnival on Wednesday, let's continue the momentum that was started and get large numbers of students attending training.

The training program can be found on the Sports training tab on Seqta. Sessions will include time with event coaches, training on the oval, and Strength and Conditioning sessions. Those attending should have appropriate footwear and clothing to train in as well as a towel and water bottle.

Students aiming to represent a First team are also welcome to attend and is a great way to build strength, fitness and power as well as team cohesion before the season starts.
