When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller

Lily has always loved listening to her grandmother’s Korean folktales, but she never expected them to become a reality! When her grandmother grows sick, a tiger appears to Lily, looking to make a bargain in exchange for her grandmother’s health. With elements of magic expertly woven into an engaging coming-of-age tale, it is no wonder this masterful piece of storytelling won the Newbery Medal.

Please remind your children to renew or return their school library books each week to avoid overdue notices being sent home - thank you!

The school encourages and greatly appreciates a NEW book or monetary donation for any damaged, lost or missing school library books.

Please contact me, the class teacher or the school Office if you have any questions or concerns regarding your children's library resources.

Happy reading!
