This Sunday's Gospel Reading

Luke 12:49-53

Jesus has come not only to bring peace but also division.

Children at this age are keenly aware of being included and excluded from peer groups. This Sunday's Gospel is an opportunity to talk about the challenge of doing the right thing even when it turns out to be the “road less traveled.”

Let us pray: 

Lord, grant me courage as I go through this day. When I am tempted to give up, help me to keep going. Grant me a cheerful spirit when things don't go my way. And give me courage to do whatever needs to be done. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Now that all classes have completed their work on the Sacramental Units in Religious Education. We look forward to preparing the children for the Sacraments as requested by families.

Fr Caldow and Liz are working on providing the opportunity for students that have finished their primary schooling to prepare for the Sacraments also. Watch this space for more information about this.
