Principal's message

Dear Parents, Carers and Supporters,

What a fantastic day we had on Saturday.

79 golfers and over 60 for the High Tea. Once the rain moved on, it was a great day to mix and celebrate St Joseph's School. A huge thank you to the organising teams for the work put in prior to the day.

Thanks also to the large number of parents and students that attended to make sure there was plenty of food and drinks for everyone. Thank you to our sponsors and everyone that donated prizes for the event.

We are very lucky to have a Parent and Friends organisation that will put so much time into providing resources for all students.

Students arriving before 8.30 am

We are noticing a large number of students arriving before 8.30 am. Teachers are not on duty until 8.30. If the need arises that your child does need to arrive before 8.30 am please remind them of the new routine for waiting to enter classrooms:

  • Waiting at the green & blue chairs at the Brigidine Cross. (Green & blue seats)
  • The duty teacher will give all students the directions to move to their classroom when they begin duty at 8.30 am.
  • Students are to unpack their bags and move to the pavilion / area outside the junior classes. The oval is not supervised in the mornings.
  • The duty teacher will then open the toilets, gate for the bus travellers and get the sports equipment ready for the day.

Thank you for your cooperation.

The day we celebrate our Father Figures and Special People.

The date has changed for this event so it coincides with Breakfast Club.

New date: THURSDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2022 @ 8.30 AM

We will gather at the Brigidine Cross for Bacon & Egg Rolls and there will be a coffee van for the special people to enjoy.

PUPIL FREE DAY: Moving Day - MONDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER.

We have been granted an extra pupil free day to moving into the new building.

This will give all staff the opportunity to relocate the administration, office and staff spaces into the new building.

CAMP Dates

Grade 3/4: 3rd & 4th November to Maldon

Grade 5/6: 12th - 14th December to Alexandra Adventure Camp

We will be visiting both camp sites prior to make sure they have the facilities we need to support all of our students. If your child is unsure of camp, please have a chat to their teacher. We will work with you to make sure they feel supported and have all the necessary information.

Take care and stay in touch.
