CBCA Book Week 2022

Aberfeldie Primary School celebrated the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book Week from 20th - 26th August, embracing the theme ‘Dreaming with eyes open'  

celebrate books and Australian children's book authors and illustrators. Throughout Book Week, all classes celebrated Book Week by reading some of the CBCA nominated books, participating in activities relating to the theme, and highlighting the importance of reading. We also held a dress up day on Friday 26th August. It was fabulous to see so many students and staff attend school dressed as their favourite book characters. A special thank you to the APS community for their creativity and the amazing effort for the dress up day.
