Welcoming the 2020 Year 7s
On a beautifully sunny Wednesday last week our 2020 Year 7 class visited Blackhall Kalimna for their transition day. From film soundtrack creation in music, to design challenges, to crystal making experiments in science, our future Year 7s got a taste of the exciting possibilities that await.
While many students are making the journey to Blackhall Kalimna from Arlington, half of the 2020 cohort are very welcome new members to the Preshil community. It was wonderful to see both the generous welcome given by our current students, and the novel ideas and experiences offered into the mix by the newcomers.
The day culminated in a delicious family BBQ in the evening, followed by the annual Preshil In-House Film Festival (PIFF).
Thanks to everyone who made the day a grand success! We look forward with excitement to welcoming everyone back on Thursday 30 January to commence Year 7 in earnest.
