Grade 3/4

Miss Mannes and Mrs Rogers

What a great way to start the term the 3/4 students had!

We took of for Camp Kookaburra on Wednesday for a fun-filled few days, with lots of fun activities, laughter, and teamwork.

On Wednesday and Thursday we completed activities such as the Initiatives course, Low Ropes Course, Canoeing, Archery, Bouldering and Bike Riding; where students displayed a great deal of initiative, teamwork and cooperation. Our night time activities were watching ‘Luca’ on Wednesday night and a campfire with marshmallows on Thursday night. Students showed great responsibility in all tasks, particularly when they were on ‘Duty Group’  during meals, where they were in charge of setting up, serving and cleaning up for their table group. We finished off our camp activities on Friday with a surprise activity on the brand new Flying Fox! We saw the workers working extra hard on getting this up and running on Wednesday and Thursday, and it was a huge privilege to be the first school to have a go on it!

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Trewick, Dee, Hannah, Elara, Ms. McEvoy, Mrs. Rogers, Ms. Mannes and all of the Camp Kookaburra staff for all of your hard work in making our camp so enjoyable!

Please take the time to have a look at the video from Camp.
