Connie's Column

On Thursday 27 March, students from Year 3 to 6 joined students from Ellenbrook Primary School and representative students and staff from surrounding schools to participate in an ANZAC Day service at the Woodlake Amphitheatre. Our Music Teacher Miss Gabriella Panaia performed the Last Post. Our Head Boy Angus and Head Girl Heather lay a wreath on behalf of the SHCPS community in honor of the ANZAC's and all the men and women who have served in the armed forces.

Connie wore her purple poppy which helps caring Australians show their appreciation for the service and sacrifice of animals in war. Throughout the ages these unsung heroes have served beside humans in the most dangerous situations without question or hesitation. The purple poppy uniquely recognises these brave animals.
