Student Led Conferences

The students have been putting energy into setting goals for themselves, with the support of their teachers, specifically in the areas of Mathematics, Literacy, and Social and Emotional Learning. In a Student-Led Conference, a student meets with their family and teachers during which the student shares their learning with work samples and discusses progress with family members. This process creates an authentic purpose for good organisational and communication skills. The structure builds students’ sense of responsibility and accountability for their own learning, and it helps to hone their understanding of what it means to meet learning goals. 

These Student-Led Conferences will be held on Monday 15th May and Tuesday 16th May. They will be scheduled for 15 minutes each so that your child can discuss the goals they have been working on during Term 1, and their goals for Term 2. They will also allow some time for you to discuss your child's progress with the teacher alone, should you wish. Parents will be able to make booking times through www.schoolinterviews.com.au from 

NEXT WEDNESDAY. You will be notified when it has opened with the code and how to book instructions.
